1973 AL Standings and League Leaders

 April 15, 1973

We're halfway through the opening month of the 1973 MLB season. My Detroit Tigers are 4-3 after losing their last 2 games and sit in 3rd place in the AL East very early in this year. The Baltimore Orioles lead the East with an AL best 6-2 record. The Chicago White Sox (4-2) lead the AL West.
Even though the Milwaukee Brewers are in last place in the West, their 3rd baseman Don Money is off to a hot start (3 HR, 9 RBI). Boston pitcher John Curtis has started the year by throwing 2 shutouts in a row. Too early for me to tell, but I think it'll be a challenge to improve on Detroit's actual record with this team.
