AL Game: Det. @ KC

 May 10, 1973

Norm Cash and the Detroit Tigers really laid it on the Kansas City Royals tonight 14-3. Detroit had been having trouble scoring runs the past week. That all changed in today's ballgame that saw the Tigers pound out 20 hits. Cash led the attack going 3 for 5 with 2 homeruns and 7 RBI. The 7 RBI are the most by any player in one game in the AL this season. Joe Coleman pitched decently for Detroit and improved his record to 6-1.
