1973 Game Story: Hou. @ SF: Players of Note

 It should be noted that in today's Astros 12-4 victory over San Francisco, Cesar Cedeno had 4 stolen bases and Bob Watson had 5 RBI for Houston.

In a lop-sided win the Houston Astros ripped the San Francisco Giants by a 12
to 4 count after a big 8 run outburst in the 12th.
 
The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings.  Houston won the game in the
10th inning.  The key at-bat was by Roger Metzger who silenced the crowd when
he tripled with all three runners coming home.  Houston had 11 hits for the
afternoon while San Francisco had 8.  
 
The victory was credited to Jim Ray(1-0) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing
no runs. Sam McDowell(1-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.
